Job Description

Salary: $92,000 - 132,000 per year Requirements:

• At least six years of progressively responsible IT experience, including at least five years performing data analytics.
• Experience building modern, user-friendly business intelligence solutions.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle databases, including writing complex SQL queries and scripts to gather, retrieve, store, and manipulate information.
• Experience converting raw data into useful insights with Excel and visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
• Experience with data mining, data modeling, and DAX Studio.
• Knowledge of database structures and experience creating views.
• In-depth Microsoft Excel skills, including graphing and pivot tables.
• Experience planning, conducting, assigning, and monitoring iterative visualization development, including reviewing prototypes and revisions with business partners.
• Experience translating business requirements into analytical design artifacts.
• Experience with Agile development methods and tools such as Jira and Team Foundation Server (TFS).
• Ability to collaborate with business partners, data owners, and cross-functional teams to understand analytical needs and translate requirements into technical specifications.
• Ability to facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements, present findings, and recommend data-informed strategies.
• Ability to liaise between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders to maintain clear communication and alignment.
• Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background investigation.

• Analyze investigative data in case management systems and applications, and develop data visualizations for agency stakeholders.
• Perform statistical analyses to answer questions and help solve problems.
• Oversee the development of conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
• Transform structured and unstructured business data into usable enterprise information, including through data management and cleaning and the development of metadata schemas, controlled vocabularies, ontologies, and taxonomies.
• Support the design of SQL queries for search engines used to retrieve data.
• Use visualization tools and communication skills to present findings to business stakeholders.
